Poetry Books

These poetry books are a result of a national initiative. Christina Gabbitas, wanted a writing initiative that children of all abilities could have an opportunity to take part in with the chance of having their work published. These A4 size poetry books have been written children, to help encourage and inspire other children of primary school age to read and write. Christina says, "I received some wonderful rhymes from all over the UK, which has been very encouraging. Selecting the poems has been challenging and greatly rewarding. The imagination and effort invested by these budding poets makes their poems a pleasure to read over and over again." You can buy the books using the buttons below:

We have invited the children of Sharjah Children's Reading Festival to take part in the initiative this year. Hind Abdullah Lenaid, Head of the festival, will be joining us on the judging panel. Christina will be attending the festival to help encourage reading and writing.
